How to Post YouTube Videos on Your Friend’s Facebook Wall

One of the newest things on Facebook is posting videos on friends’ walls. From YouTube, you can quickly post a video to your own wall, but it takes a couple of more steps to post it to your friend’s wall. This guide will show you how to find the video you want to post, and how to post the video on your friend’s wall. First, you will need to open two tabs in your browser. In the first tab, you will need to load the YouTube site. In the second tab, you will need to load your Facebook account. Once your Facebook account loads, go to the friend’s wall that you want to post the video on. Leave that page there and go back to your other tab.

In the YouTube tab, you will need to search for the video you want to post on your friend’s wall. Once you find the video, click it so it will play. While it is playing, copy the URL in the address bar at the top of your browser. When you click the URL, it will be highlighted. You can either press CTRL C on your keyboard to copy it, or you can right click and click Copy in the menu. When the URL is copied, you can return to the friend’s wall.

On the friend’s Facebook wall, you will need to click the third icon (link icon) in the attach area, below the wall box. When you click the link icon, the box will expand. You will see a field with http://. Delete that out of the box and paste the link you copied from YouTube in this field. You can right click and click Paste to paste it in the field, or you can press CTRL V on your keyboard to paste it.

Once the URL is pasted, you will need to click the Attach button. Now you can add a message to the video if you want to. Your message goes in the top box, where you would normally write something to post on your friend’s wall. When you are ready to post the video, click the Share button. You will then see the video on your friend’s Facebook wall.

So, basically, find the YouTube video and copy the URL. Go to your friend’s Facebook wall and paste the link in the link field. Add a message if you want and click Share. Adding videos is quick and easy on Facebook and a great way to send a message.
